Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is based on the graphic novel series by Bryan Lee O’Malley. In the film adaptation, Scott Pilrim (Michael Cera) meets the girl of his dreams, Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). In order to continue to date Ramona, Scott learns that he must defeat Ramona’s “seven evil exes”.
Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), a lonely teen who decides to become a real-life superhero after being inspired by the heroes of comic books. Teaming up with Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), he soon encounters a mysterious vigilante called Big-Daddy (Nicolas Cage), and his daughter Hit Girl (Chloë Moretz), who are working to bring down the drug baron, Frank D’Amico.
Angelina Jolie plays a CIA operative (Evelyn Salt) who turns rogue to clear her name after a defector accuses her of being a Russian sleeper agent. Using her skills and experience as a convert operative, the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues with the question: “Who is Salt?”
Tom Cruise was originally set to play the lead but left and joined Cameron Diaz in an action comedy. Luckily the role was given to Jolie as it would be tedious for film-goers to see Cruise say “somebody is setting me up” again as he was already “set up” in Mission Impossible and Minority Report.
How to Train Your Dragon is set in a mythical world of vikings and dragons. The story centers around a viking teenager named Hiccup (Jay Baruchel), who lives on the island of Berk, where fighting dragons is a way of life. The teen’s smarts and offbeat sense of humor is disliked by his tribe and its chief, Hiccup’s father. However, when Hiccup is included in Dragon Training with the other viking teens, he sees his chance to prove he has what it takes to be a fighter. But when he encounters (and ultimately befriends) an injured dragon, his world is flipped upside down.
In 1972, a scale of measurement was established for alien encounters. The scale consists of four kinds. When a UFO is sighted, it is called an encounter of the first kind. When evidence is collected, it is known as an encounter of the second kind. When contact is made with extraterrestrials, it is the third kind. The next level, abduction, is the fourth kind.
The Fouth Kind is a alien abduction movie starring Mila Jovovich (The Fifth Element) that uses ‘documentary footage’ with re-enacted scenes. The title was derived from J. Allen Hynek’s classification of close encounters with aliens, in which the fourth kind represents an alien abduction.
Set in modern-day Nome, Alaska, The Fourth kind is based on FBI investigations into the mysterious deaths and disappearance of its inhabitants and psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler (Milla Jovovich) videotaped sessions with traumatized patients that unwittingly discovered some of the most disturbing evidence of alien abduction ever documented.

Andy has grown up and is going to college. He chose to keep Woody while keeping the rest in storage. Unfortunately for the rest, they are accidentally thrown away and ended up at a day care center where they get mishandled by the kids. Arrgggh!
Bo Peep and her sheep are missing from both trailers. I hope she has not been forgotten. There will also be a new toy character voiced by Kristen Schaal (Flight of the Conchords) and Blake Clark will be the new voice for Slinky after the sad passing of Jim Varney.
It has been 10 years since I last saw Toy Story 2 and I am glad the toys have not changed. We may even get to see Toy Story 1 and 2 as a back to back feature in 3D to be released together with Toy Story 3. Now that would be awesomely imba.
